Warangal: Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar has emphasized the need for district officials to focus on ongoing development works in the Warangal West constituency. He conducted a review meeting with Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Sunder Raj Yadav, district collector Sikta Patnaik, and municipal commissioner Shaik Rizwan Basha. The meeting discussed the progress of projects such as roads and drains in Hanumakonda. Vinay Bhaskar directed officials to speed up the works and ensure their completion within the specified timeframe. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality work. Vinay stressed the need for constant monitoring and prioritizing the repair of roads and drains damaged during the recent floods.
Vinay Bhaskar also focused on the administration’s preparedness for future floods. He urged authorities to take measures to prevent colonies from getting inundated. Vinay announced that he would personally inspect ongoing development works in the city starting next week. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of officials to create an action plan to prevent flooding in the city.
In addition to flood prevention, Vinay Bhaskar mentioned plans for city beautification. He stated that new junctions will be developed, and the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) will acquire the necessary land for these projects.
