Hyderabad: The PCC chief A Revanth Reddy blamed the ruling BRS government for the difficulties faced by farmers in Vikarabad district. He believes that the Pranahita-Chevella project would have solved the irrigation problems in the area. Revanth explained that the project was initiated by the earlier Congress government to address these issues. However, after coming into power, the BRS leadership halted the project, which would have benefited the region.

Revanth questioned whether it was KCR who stalled the project and denied the region of Godavari waters. He also held KCR responsible for the incomplete Palamuru-Rangareddy project.

The PCC chief emphasized that the Congress party will implement six guarantees and expressed confidence in the people who trust the party. He also pointed out that KCR’s public meeting had a shortage of people and alleged that the BRS was hiring people to fill the place.
