Hyderabad: Vijayashanthi expressed her opinion that it is not fair to consider non-regional parties and Telugu children living in Telangana in the same way. She stated that this issue has impacted the Telugu Desam Party in Telangana and has caused the state to lose its way in the elections. It is also evident that BRS, similar to TDP, is not making much progress in Andhra Pradesh politics. She made these remarks at an event on Wednesday.

Vijayashanthi, a senior BJP leader and film actress, stated that there is no concept of settlers in Telangana, and all children in the state are considered Telangana people. She believes that it is important to support policies that protect the interests and safety of settlers in the state. However, Telangana activists who have fought for generations have made it clear that they will not accept non-regional parties in elections. This has already been proven.

Vijayashanthi emphasized that the interests of political parties are different from the interests of the people. She believes that it is the responsibility of everyone in the federal system to safeguard democratic systems, allowing people from different regions to unite as part of the Indian nation. This is why she reacted strongly when the police prevented Andhra people from entering Hyderabad hospitals during critical situations of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She reminded everyone that she will be ready to fight for the rights of patients if they are denied access to Hyderabad.
