Congress leader Vijayashanthi criticized the BRS MLAs for saying that the Congress government won’t last more than six months and that they will come back to power. She said that authoritarianism, arrogance, exploitation, and dictatorial systems naturally oppose democratic developments. The MLAs made these comments after meeting KCR.

Vijayashanthi mentioned that in 2014, TRS got 63 seats, which is less than what the current Congress achieved in 2023. She questioned why the BRS could lead the government for 10 years while the current Congress government cannot.

She asked KCR to respond to the MLAs’ statements if he has no intention of toppling the Congress government. She challenged KCR, saying that if he is a democrat, he should clarify that the statements made by his party leaders are wrong. She also suggested that it seems like KCR is instructing the MLAs to make such comments to avoid rumors of BRS MLAs planning to join Congress.
