Congress Urges Supporters to Attend Nirudyoga Vijayotsava Sabha in Peddapalli
Peddapalli MLA Chinthakunta Vijayaramana Rao has called on Congress leaders, activists, and supporters to attend the upcoming Nirudyoga Vijayotsava Sabha in large numbers. The event is scheduled to take place in Peddapalli on December 4.
The meeting will be attended by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with state ministers and MLAs. Speaking to the media on Monday, Vijayaramana Rao criticized the previous government for burdening Telangana with debt. He highlighted the Congress party’s ongoing efforts to prioritize job creation since coming to power.
During the event, the Chief Minister will distribute appointment letters to 9,000 candidates who were selected through Group 4 and other competitive examinations. This marks a significant step towards fulfilling the Congress party’s promise of providing jobs to the people of Telangana.
The MLA also accused the previous BRS government of betraying farmers. He pointed out that Congress had waived off Rs 2 lakh loans for farmers as promised, unlike the previous administration, which only offered nominal waivers. Additionally, he criticized the BJP government for introducing “black farm laws” and accused them of shedding “crocodile tears” over farmers’ struggles.
Vijayaramana Rao reassured farmers that Congress is a pro-farmer government. He stated that payments for grain purchases are being deposited directly into farmers’ accounts within 24 hours. Furthermore, a bonus of Rs 500 for fine paddy is credited immediately. He urged citizens not to be misled by opposition parties and reiterated Congress’s commitment to supporting farmers.
Ahead of the event, IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and MLA Vijayaramana Rao, along with the district collector and senior officials, inspected the venue and reviewed the arrangements for the Yuva Sakthi Nirudyoga Vijayotsava Sabha.
The meeting aims to showcase Congress’s achievements and reaffirm its dedication to addressing issues like unemployment and agriculture in Telangana.
