Mahabubnagar: Vijay Kumar Mudhiraju officially took charge as the Vice Chairman of the Mahabubnagar Agriculture Market Committee on Thursday. Alongside him, Anita Bekkari assumed the role of Chairperson.
The swearing-in ceremony took place in Mahabubnagar and was attended by Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. During his speech, Minister Jupally advised the new committee members to focus on the welfare of farmers. He emphasized the importance of making sure state government schemes are implemented effectively.
Minister Jupally also spoke about the government’s commitment to helping farmers under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership. He mentioned programs like loan waivers that aim to reduce the financial burdens on farmers. “The government is focused on the welfare of farmers, and I encourage the committee to stay accessible and proactive in addressing their issues,” he said.
Several other public representatives were also present at the event, including MP Mallu Ravi and MLAs Ennen Srinivas Reddy and Madhusudan Reddy. The newly appointed committee members promised to work towards improving the market’s operations to better serve the local farming community.
