V Hanumantha Rao, a senior leader of the Congress party and former MP, believes that the Congress is the only party in India with a secular ideology. He stated that party leader Rahul Gandhi is working hard to uphold secularism in the country.

Rao expressed his views at a press conference held at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad. He mentioned that Gandhi sees the Congress party’s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a guiding compass for the nation.

Additionally, Rao urged the Congress leadership to not overlook senior party members who have dedicated their efforts during the party’s ten years in opposition in Telangana. He called for these leaders to be acknowledged with nominated positions.
