Congress leader Vamshi Chand Reddy has criticized Teenmaar Mallanna for his recent remarks, calling them an attempt to stay relevant in politics. Reddy, who is also a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), dismissed Mallanna’s statements as baseless.
Speaking to the media, Reddy clarified that his decision to contest in the Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha elections was made by the Congress high command. He rejected Mallanna’s claim that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was responsible for his defeat in the elections.
Reddy alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won in Mahbubnagar due to a political alliance between the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and BJP. He claimed that their coordinated efforts worked against the Congress.
He also emphasized that every Congress member, from the Chief Minister to grassroots workers, had worked hard to secure his victory. Reddy reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and dismissed Mallanna’s comments as politically motivated.
