Farmers in Rangareddy are being encouraged to improve their cultivation skills to match international standards. Dr. B Neeraja Prabhakar, the Vice-Chancellor of Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTSHU), believes that growing vegetables to overseas standards can bring in good profits for farmers in the state. The university recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lemon Chilli Farm in Hyderabad to enhance the yield and productivity of exotic vegetable crops. The MoU also includes cooperation in conducting horticulture industrial attachment programs for students. University officials were present at the signing ceremony.
