Former State Congress president and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy has stated that the leaders and workers of the BRS party are openly opposing the re-allotment of party MLA tickets to BRS sitting MLAs. He believes that the defeat of BRS party’s sittings in the elections is certain. Speaking at a press conference in Kodada town, he questioned the need to pay a BMT (Bollam Mallaiah Tax) of Rs 3 lakh to make ventures in Kodada. He claimed that the burden of BMT will only be removed if Bollam is defeated.
Reddy accused all MLAs of the BRS party, including CM KCR, of being involved in illegal and corrupt businesses. He alleged that 70% corruption and illegality occurred in the Dalit Bandhu scheme. Reddy called on the Mudiraj community to reject the BRS party as it did not allocate any MLA ticket to the Mudiraj caste in the upcoming election. He also criticized the party for only allocating three tickets to the Muslim community, which makes up 12% of the population. Reddy described this as an insult to the Muslim community.
Highlighting the issue of unemployment, Reddy mentioned that there are 25 lakh unemployed youth in the State who must teach a lesson to the BRS party in the next elections. He announced that Uttam Padmavathi will be contesting as the Congress party candidate from Kodada constituency. Reddy expressed confidence that the Congress party will win 70 seats overall and all 12 seats in Erstwhile Nalgonda district.
