    The Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister, Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy, met with Cardinal Poola Anthony, the Head of the Catholic Christian Community in South India, to wish him and the entire Christian community a Merry Christmas. During the meeting, Reddy emphasized the Congress party’s commitment to equal opportunities for all communities, especially minorities. He assured that Christians and other minorities would be protected and their rights, properties, and religious freedom would be safeguarded. Reddy also criticized the BJP-led government for creating a sense of insecurity among minorities and promised that the Congress Government in Telangana would take strong action against incidents of hatred and religious discrimination. In conclusion, Reddy extended his warm wishes to the Christian community in Telangana for Christmas and the New Year.
