Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy claimed that 25 MLAs are in touch with Congress and would join soon. He stated this at a press conference with Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Jupally Krishna Rao. The Minister also mentioned that BRS would cease to exist after the Lok Sabha elections.
Uttam criticized KCR for his tactics and stated that people have rejected his party. He condemned KCR’s use of disrespectful language against Congress leaders and blamed him for the current drought conditions in Telangana.
The Minister mentioned that the Congress government inherited drought conditions due to mismanagement by the previous BRS regime. He highlighted the efforts being made to provide essential services despite the challenges.
Uttam clarified that the delay in using the Kaleshwaram Project was due to damage caused to the Medigadda barrage. He criticized KCR for redesigning a project initiated by the previous Congress regime, which could have solved the drought problem in the region.
Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Jupalli Krishna Rao also criticized KCR for targeting the Congress government, emphasizing that they had been in power for only four months.
