Union Minister of Tourism, G Kishan Reddy, has received the Presidential Medallion from US President Joe Biden. This award recognizes Reddy’s exceptional efforts in promoting tourism, culture, and various aspects of India globally, including in the United States. Reddy’s office stated that he was also recognized for his contributions to the development of the North-Eastern Region and for promoting tourism and culture. This prestigious medallion is given by the US President to outstanding leaders and contributors worldwide. Reddy is the first Indian leader to receive this honor.
