Dr V Srinivas Goud, the Excise, Sports, and Tourism Minister, laid the foundation for an urban park in Mahabubnagar. The park will be located behind the district court complex in Subhasnagar. The minister highlighted the need for such parks in urban areas, as small towns and district headquarters are becoming concrete jungles without enough green spaces. The park aims to provide a place for locals to relax and breathe fresh air.
The open space behind the court has been unused for a long time. Recognizing the increasing air pollution, the district administration, under the minister’s guidance, decided to construct the park. The construction will cost Rs 20 lakh. The minister urged the authorities to complete the work as soon as possible, making the park accessible to the public.
