    Hyderabad: A student from the University of Hyderabad (UoH), Lucky Mirani, who is pursuing an IMA in Political Science, had the honor of representing the Telangana team in the fourth Goalball National Championship.

    The event was held in Gondia, Maharashtra, from December 26 to December 28. According to officials from UoH, the Telangana team performed admirably and secured a bronze medal in the competition.

    Goalball is a unique team sport created specifically for visually challenged athletes. The championship was organized by the Goalball Federation of India, in collaboration with the Tara Goalball Sports Association of Maharashtra.

    Seventeen teams from various parts of India participated in this national-level tournament, making it a significant event for the visually impaired sports community.
