The Shamshabad International Airport in Hyderabad received a bomb threat from an unknown person. The person sent an email to the control room, saying that a bomb had been placed at the airport and would explode at 7 pm.
To ensure everyone’s safety, the bomb squad, dog squad, and CISF local police were immediately informed. They thoroughly checked the entire airport and found no bomb. Thankfully, there was no danger.
However, the airport authorities received another email from a different address. The sender explained that their child had sent the previous threatening email by mistake while playing with their phone. They apologized for the incident and asked for forgiveness.
The airport officials have reported the incident to the local police, and a case has been filed. An investigation is currently underway to find the person responsible for sending the threatening email.
