Hyderabad was buzzing with excitement as the countdown to the New Year approached. Instead of traditional venues, most residents chose to celebrate at luxurious resorts and farmhouses on the outskirts of the city. These locations provided an escape from the city hustle and allowed people to enjoy fresh air, greenery, and celebrate under the night sky. To attract customers, resorts and clubs offered discounts and packages.

Even Tollywood celebrities, such as Rashmika Mandanna and NTR Junior, opted for glamorous destinations around the world to say goodbye to 2023 and welcome the New Year.

On New Year’s Eve, there was a huge rush at wine shops and bakeries. The police remained vigilant, guarding roads and helping citizens celebrate peacefully. As the clock struck midnight, the city skyline lit up with vibrant fireworks and bustling gatherings as people said goodbye to the past year and embraced the new one.

Akilesh Yadav, an IT employee, explained that the decision to go to farmhouses and resorts was fueled by a desire for a change and a break from their usual routine. They wanted to celebrate the New Year in a different setting, away from their familiar living rooms and local halls. For this reason, they planned to celebrate at a resort in Shadnagar.
