To address water supply issues, projects worth ₹10 crore have been completed to provide 24-hour purified water to villages around Karimnagar under the municipal corporation’s jurisdiction. The system is designed to serve approximately 4,500 houses, with water available at the turn of a tap. Meters have already been installed in five divisions, and arrangements are being finalized to supply continuous water to about 2,500 houses. This will make Karimnagar the first city in the state to have uninterrupted water supply.

The Padma Nagar integrated market, built with ₹14 crore, will provide a one-stop destination for residents. It includes stalls for vegetables, meat, fish, groceries, and other goods, making shopping more convenient while addressing traffic concerns in the area.

A state-of-the-art sports complex, constructed at the entrance of Ambedkar Stadium for ₹22 crore, will also be inaugurated. The facility includes a large banquet hall, six dormitory rooms, 22 sheds, 22 air-conditioned rooms, bathrooms, and a cellar parking area for players. A commercial complex has been built nearby in Kattarapur, Bhagat Nagar, and Ganesh Nagar areas.

Additionally, Kumar Wadi High School will unveil new classrooms and digital smart classes, each built at a cost of ₹10 crore. These upgrades aim to enhance the learning experience for students.

Karimnagar Mayor Yadagiri Sunil Rao expressed his gratitude to the residents, officials, state ministers, and public representatives for their cooperation in bringing these projects to fruition. He stated that he feels fortunate to have played a role in the city’s development and looks forward to the positive impact these initiatives will have on Karimnagar’s future.
