The Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, G Kishan Reddy, recently made a statement regarding the behavior of the Telangana state police. Reddy expressed concern that the police were acting like bounded labor to the Kalawkuntla family. He made these comments after calling the Telangana State Director General of Police, Anjan Kumar Yadav, to inquire about the arrest of the State BJP chief, Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

Reddy questioned the reasons behind Kumar’s arrest and expressed disappointment that the DGP was not aware of the details surrounding the case. He stated that it was unfortunate that protests were happening in the state regarding the arrest of the Karimnagar MP, yet the police were still unaware of the reasons for his arrest.
