BRS MPs have submitted a notice to the Lok Sabha Speaker, requesting to move a privilege motion against Union Minister Nishikant Dubey. The notice was sent by BRS floor leader in Lok Sabha, Nama Nageshwar Rao, under rule 222. This motion is being sought because the union minister allegedly made a false statement in the house, claiming that the Union Government sanctioned Rs 86 lakh crore for the Kaleshwaram project. The MPs believe that this statement misled the entire house, and they are seeking the speaker’s intervention to move a privilege motion against the minister.
