Union Minister Dr L Murugan expressed confidence in the victory of party candidate Bharat Prasad in the Nagarkurnool LS constituency. He stated that they are aiming for a significant majority in the upcoming elections.
During a meeting with party mandal unit presidents, Murugan mentioned that Nagarkurnool is crucial in their goal of securing 400 seats. He highlighted that Prasad’s victory would lead to the realization of important projects like a railway line and a mango processing unit in Wanaparthy, which would benefit farmers and create job opportunities for the youth.
Murugan criticized CM A Revanth Reddy for making false allegations about the BJP endangering the Constitution and scrapping reservations for SC, ST, and BC communities. He also mentioned an incident where Reddy was caught with a manipulated video, which he believes has made the people of Telangana lose respect for him.
The meeting was attended by district party president D Narayana and State executive members. The preparations for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s event in support of Prasad were also discussed during the meeting.
