    Bandi Sanjay Kumar Inaugurates Bathukamma Celebrations

    Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, started the Bathukamma celebrations in Vemulawada.

    On Tuesday, he lit the ceremonial lamp to begin the festivities. Thousands of women gathered in groups to participate in traditional Bathukamma and Kolatam dances.

    Before attending the celebrations, Bandi Sanjay, who is observing Bhavani Diksha during Navaratri, visited the Vemulawada Rajanna temple. Temple officials greeted him, and the priests gave him blessings after he performed a special pooja.

    In another part of the state, the Shri Devi Sharannavaratri celebrations at Karimnagar Mahashakti Temple are being celebrated in a grand manner.

    On Tuesday, the sixth day of Navaratri, the deity appeared in the form of Goddess Katyayani, also known as Sri Mahalakshmi. She was decorated beautifully with coins and lotus flowers.

    Thousands of devotees have been visiting the temple throughout the day from different parts of the state.

    The temple officials welcomed the District Collector and Municipal Commissioner with a traditional Purna Kumbha. Special pujas were performed by the priests, and blessings were given to the guests.
