BJP Leaders in Gadwal Celebrate Union Budget 2025
The BJP leaders of Jogulamba Gadwal district came together to celebrate the Union Budget 2025 in a unique way. They performed a milk abhishekam (ritualistic pouring of milk) over a banner of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at the event, BJP district president S. Ramachandra Reddy described the budget as a major step forward in India’s development.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recently presented the Annual Budget for 2025-26, which highlights various initiatives to support the middle class, farmers, youth, women, and the economically disadvantaged. The budget has been praised for its focus on empowering different sections of society through specific measures.
Key Highlights of the Budget:
– Income Tax Exemption: Middle-class salaried individuals will now enjoy tax exemption on income up to ₹12 lakh.
– Kisan Credit Card (KCC): Farmers can avail of higher loans under the KCC scheme, with the limit increased from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh.
– Support for MSMEs: Loans up to ₹20 crore have been allocated for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to boost growth and entrepreneurship.
– Healthcare Relief: The cost of medicines for cancer and other major illnesses has been reduced, providing relief to patients and their families.
– Anganwadi Centers 2.0: Nutritional food will be provided to 8 crore children under this revamped scheme.
– Defense Sector Boost: Substantial funds have been allocated to strengthen national security and defense.
– Support for Backward Districts: A new scheme has been introduced to aid farmers in 100 backward districts.
At the celebration, S. Ramachandra Reddy expressed confidence in the budget’s ability to fulfill the aspirations of every Indian. He highlighted that the initiatives will create new opportunities for youth, encourage savings, and boost economic growth, ultimately contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
The event was attended by several prominent BJP leaders, including Gadwal BJP MLA candidate Shiva Reddy, as well as Town and Mandal Presidents Kompati Bhagat Reddy and Gopalakrishna. Other attendees included Kisan Morcha State Executive Member Medi Konda Bhim Sen Rao, District Executive Members Nageshwar Reddy, OBC General Secretary Venkatesh Yadav, and Town Vice Presidents Lakshman Goud, Raghu, Shiva, Gaddam Sreenu, Rajasekhar, Shivanna, Narasimha Rao, Mahesh, and Upender Reddy.
