    The Cyberabad Special Operations Team arrested two engineering students in Hyderabad for possessing and intending to sell MDMA drugs. They were identified as K Surya Kumar and G Shyam Babu, both originally from Andhra Pradesh. The police confiscated 28 grams of MDMA worth Rs 4.2 lakh from them.

    The students had travelled to Bengaluru to obtain the drugs from a person named Abhi. Surya Kumar had previously been arrested for drug-related activities by Chandanagar police and had served time in jail. Upon release, he resumed his illegal activities. The police are now working to apprehend Abhi and a foreign national named Salman.
