In Hyderabad, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau and Sultan Bazar police caught a ganja seller and two junior doctors with ganja. They found 10 sachets of ganja weighing 80 grams in total.
The person arrested was Suresh Singh, also known as Tinku Singh, aged 38 and residing in Dhoolpet. He had previous involvement in five cases in different police stations. Suresh was caught trying to sell ganja to medical students at Koti. The two doctors caught with him were Dr. K Manikandan and Dr. V Aravind from Osmania Medical College. Suresh has been selling ganja since 2016 and was caught while trying to sell to medical students at Koti. Both doctors tested positive for ganja use. The police said around eight to ten medical students regularly bought ganja from Suresh. He bought the drugs from Pankaj Singh of Jummerath Bazaar in the past two years. Four medical students have been identified as consumers, and efforts are being made to find more.
