Hyderabad: Video Recording Case at CMR College – Two Arrested
The investigation into the video recording case at CMR College in Hyderabad has made progress. Police have arrested two individuals, Nanda Kishore and Govind Kumar, both from Bihar, for allegedly peeping into bathrooms in the girls’ hostel. Cases have been registered against these two suspects, as well as five others, in connection with the incident.
The college management has also come under scrutiny. Chairman Chamakuru Gopal Reddy, Director Janga Reddy, Principal Anantha Narayana, Warden Preeti Reddy, and Campus Warden Dhanalakshmi have been booked for negligence. Reports suggest that the arrested duo not only behaved inappropriately but also made lewd remarks toward female students.
Students had reportedly raised complaints about the issue, but the management allegedly failed to take any action. This inaction has sparked outrage among the student community.
The police have assured that a thorough investigation is ongoing and have promised strict action against anyone found responsible for the incident.
