Warangal: Constables from the IV Battalion of the Telangana State Special Police held a protest on Saturday outside the Commandant Office in Mamnoor, a village near Warangal. They were demanding the implementation of the ‘Ek Police – Ek State’ policy, which calls for uniform working conditions for all police personnel across the state.

The constables reminded the government that the Chief Minister had previously promised to introduce the ‘Ek Police’ system in Telangana. This system would ensure that all police officers are treated equally. They urged the government to treat them with respect instead of treating them like slaves.

Additionally, the families of these constables have also taken to the streets to demand justice. They expressed concerns over frequent transfers, which they said disrupt their children’s education and lead to financial difficulties for their families.
