The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided to start operating buses to Vijayawada via Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) from October 18, 2023. This decision was made in response to appeals from passengers and there will be no change in the ticket fare.

Currently, 24 bus services departing from BHEL and Miyapur will be operated through JBS instead of Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS). These services will pass through KPHB Colony, Balanagar, Bowenpally, JBS, Sangeet junction (Pushpak Point), Tarnaka (Pushpak Point), Habsiguda (Pushpak Point), Uppal (Pushpak Point), and LB Nagar before reaching Vijayawada.

Previously, TSRTC buses from BHEL and Miyapur were going to Vijayawada via MGBS. This made it difficult for passengers from JBS, Secunderabad, and nearby areas to reach MGBS. To address this issue, TSRTC decided to operate 24 services to Vijayawada via JBS based on the appeals made by passengers.

According to TSRTC managing director VC Sajjanar, these bus services will be particularly useful for passengers residing in Bowenpally, Secunderabad, JBS, Tarnaka, Habsiguda, and Uppal areas. Passengers can make advance reservations for these services on the TSRTC website.
