    The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has clarified that there were no irregularities in the Group-I Prelims examination held on June 11. This clarification comes in response to allegations that 258 additional papers had been received. The TSPSC stated that the announcement was made based on information provided by collectors on the day of the exam. A total of 2,33,248 candidates appeared for the exam, as reported to the media. However, according to the OMR scan, a total of 2,33,508 candidates appeared for the exam. The TSPSC explained that slight changes in numbers are expected when such a large number of people are taking the exam, and the final number was determined after scanning. They also emphasized that no additional papers were added after the exam and that there were no irregularities in the conduct of the Group-I Prelims.

    On Wednesday, the Telangana High Court upheld the decision to quash the Group-I Prelims examination.
