The Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) has announced the ‘One District One Exhibition’ (ODOE) program, which will be held in three districts of Telangana – Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubnagar, and Nizamabad. The program is sponsored by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and will take place from February 15-17, between 10:30 am to 3 pm.
The ODOE program aims to showcase market-ready, low-cost innovations that address challenges in agriculture, irrigation, waste management, dairy farming, and rural development. It brings together 30 innovators who have been scouted and nurtured by TSIC and supported by Palle Srujana.
The objective of the program is to create a platform that promotes frugal and local solutions devised by grassroots innovators in Telangana. These solutions can be deployed for the benefit of farmers and stakeholders in agriculture and rural development.
The one-day exhibitions, sponsored by NABARD, will be held on three consecutive days. The goal is to create a market for rural and grassroots innovations that are different from typical commercial products. It also provides an opportunity for beneficiaries to explore and adopt innovative solutions presented by a curated group of grassroots innovators.
Overall, the ODOE program aims to support and promote local innovations that can address the daily challenges faced by farmers and rural communities in Telangana.
