The Telangana assembly elections schedule has been released, and the BRS leaders have started campaigning in most constituencies. However, some people are protesting against the leaders in certain areas.

During the first day of campaigning, BRS’ Mulugu MLA candidate Bade Nagajyoti faced backlash when she visited the Mulugu Gattamma temple to offer prayers. As Nagajyoti went door-to-door in Premanagar village for campaigning, the locals protested. They questioned how she could ask for their votes when she ignored them while their lands were being seized for the Tribal University.

The people also expressed their anger about the alleged demolition of their houses in the constituency.
