ASP Chittaranjan has urged the tribal community to stay away from anti-social activities and focus on education and development. On Sunday, he and a police team walked 20 km through remote villages in Tiryani mandal as part of the ‘For You’ initiative. The villages they visited included Govena, Kursiguda, and Nayakpuguda.
During their visit, the police interacted with the villagers to understand their problems. They also distributed volleyball kits and t-shirts to the local youth. Speaking to the villagers, ASP Chittaranjan assured them that the police department is committed to their welfare. He warned them not to fall under the influence of Maoists or engage in unlawful activities.
Chittaranjan emphasized the importance of education and personal development for the youth. He urged parents to ensure their children attend school, as education is the key to progress. He also warned against harmful addictions and illegal activities.
Additionally, the ASP advised villagers to avoid ganja cultivation and report any suspicious individuals to the police. He also promised help to a local youth named Sambhurao, who is suffering from an illness. He assured the villagers that the police would soon arrange his treatment.
