Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar attended Farmers Day celebrations in Raghunathapalem and Rankya Tanda as the chief guest on Saturday. He praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for supporting the agricultural sector in Telangana.
Puvvada highlighted the government’s efforts to support farmers, such as providing free power, fertilizers, seeds, and aid to fishermen for fish culture. He also mentioned welfare schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, Asara pensions, Rythu Bandhu, and Rythu Bhima.
The Minister announced that a new educational facility worth Rs 20 crore is being established near Suda Park in Ragunathapalem mandal for needy students. He also mentioned relief and rehabilitation aid for crops damaged by recent hailstorms and untimely rains in Telangana, which is more than the Centre’s recommendations.
Puvvada urged the people to support the ruling party and Chief Minister KCR if they want to see the welfare schemes continue. He said that the aim of CM KCR is to make Rythu king and that the government has transformed thandas into Gram Panchayats under his leadership.
