The Transport Commissioner also stressed that private buses must only be operated by experienced drivers. Additionally, operators are required to maintain a passenger list with the help of an attendant. Failure to follow these regulations, including those specific to contract carriage buses, will result in the seizure of vehicles.

This crackdown aims to ensure passenger safety and fair practices during the busy festival season.
