Telangana Transco CMD Krishna Bhaskar has been selected for the World Bank Fellowship. He is the only officer from India to receive this honor.
Officials stated that the World Bank has been offering a fellowship course on statistics and analytics since last year. Krishna Bhaskar was chosen for this program based on his Master of Applied Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
A total of 33 government officials from different countries were selected for the fellowship. Among them, Krishna Bhaskar is the only representative from India.
The World Bank will cover the entire cost of the course. A live session for the fellowship will be held in the United States from March 18 to 27.
