Violent Murder of a Disabled Man in Karimnagar District
Karimnagar: A horrific incident has shaken the district as unidentified individuals brutally murdered a disabled man. The police and locals have provided the following details. The incident took place at Carupakulapalli in the Ramadugu Mandal, where a 60-year-old disabled man named Kamurayya was killed by unknown assailants. The motive behind the murder remains unclear, as reported by SSI Anjayya.
On Monday, Telavaru villagers noticed that Kamurayya, who was a visually impaired person, had passed away in his sleep while his mother Mallamma slept. His son immediately informed the police about the incident. CI Ravindra and SSI Anjayya, who arrived at the scene, are investigating the possible causes behind Kamurayya’s murder.
Following the complaint filed by the deceased’s mother, a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. However, a resident named Neelam Ilayya, who resides in the same village, has gone missing and is suspected to be involved in the crime. The police are currently searching for Ilayya and have alerted nearby police stations. It is believed that a land dispute between Kamurayya and Ilayya might be the reason behind the murder.
