In preparation for the month of Ramzan, the traffic police in Hyderabad have implemented extensive measures to ensure a smooth flow of traffic around Charminar and Madina Building. To achieve this, 200 traffic police officers have been deployed to work round the clock. Additionally, traffic cranes have been stationed at Falaknuma, Charminar, Mirchowk, and Bahadurpura police stations. ACP Traffic Charminar, A Srinivas Rao, has stated that these arrangements will continue until the Eid ul Fitr festival, and that all efforts will be made to avoid any inconvenience to those attending prayers at Mecca Masjid or shoppers.
The traffic police have also identified designated parking spaces for visitors to the area. These include Charminar Nizamia Hospital, Mufeedul Anam School Alijah Kotla, Sardar Mahal complex, Moti Galli old pension office, Urdu Maskan auditorium Khilwat, S Y J complex Pathergatti, QQSUDA stadium High Court Road, Old Bus Stand Charminar and Jillu Khana complex Motigalli. With these measures in place, the traffic police hope to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all those visiting the area during this important time.
