A big traffic jam happened in Hyderabad due to an oil spill near the NMDC flyover on Wednesday morning. The spill caused chaos on the Masab Tank-Mehdipatnam stretch and affected nearby areas too. Traffic police, GHMC, and DRF personnel were deployed to manage the situation. Four containers of engine oil fell from a vehicle and caused considerable spillage. The disruption has affected the daily routines of many people, causing frustration and inconvenience. Workers have been dumping mud on the affected road to prevent further spread of the oil. Commuters are advised to consider alternative routes if they need to travel in those areas. Traffic issues are expected to persist for some time.
