    Hyderabad: Muslim brethren are offering special prayers on the occasion of Bakrid. In this context, the police have imposed traffic restrictions in several areas of the old city in Hyderabad on Thursday (August 29). Traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place from 8 am to 11:30 am at the Meer Alam Tank Eidgah area. Travelers have been advised to take alternate routes during this time.

    The traffic restrictions are as follows:

    From Puranapool, Kamaatipuram, and Kishanbagh, permission is granted to offer prayers for Eid at Bahadurpura X Road from 8 am to 11:30 am. Vehicles must go through Joo Park, Masjid Alha Ho Akbar Park.

    Regular traffic is not allowed on Eidgah road. Traffic will be diverted from Bahadurpura X Road towards Kishanbagh, Kamaatipuram, and Puranapool.

    From Shivarampalli and Dhanammahats, all vehicles coming to offer prayers are permitted to use Dhanammahats Road from 8 am to 11:30 am. Regular traffic is allowed on the route towards Shastrinpuram and Nskunta.

    RTC buses and other heavy vehicles coming from Puranapool to Bahadurpura will be diverted through Puranapool gate towards Jiyaguda and City College.

    From Shamsabad and Rajendranagar to Bahadurpura, vehicles will be diverted through Aranghar Junction.

    Vehicles coming for Eid from Kalapattar will be allowed from Kalapattar Thana towards Bahadurpura from 8 am to 11:30 am. Regular vehicles will be diverted through Mochi Colony towards Bahadurpura.
