    Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police have issued a traffic advisory because of the Intercontinental Cup 2024 Football Tournament. The matches will be held on September 3, 6, and 9 at GMCB Stadium in Gachibowli. Teams from India, Syria, and Mauritius will be playing in the tournament.

    Due to the matches, traffic is expected to be heavy in certain areas. The affected routes are from Lingampally to Gachibowli, Gachibowli to Lingampally, and Wipro to IIIT Junction. Traffic congestion is likely to occur between 4 pm and 10 pm on the days of the matches.

    For those traveling from Gachibowli Junction towards Lingampally Junction, the police suggest taking a left turn at GPRA Quarters, then a right turn at Gopichand Academy, followed by a left turn at Infosys Wipro Junction, and then a right turn towards Gopanpally and the University Backside to reach Lingampally.

    For those heading from Lingampally towards Gachibowli Junction, the advised route is to take a left turn at HCU Depot, pass through Masjid Banda, continue to Botanical Garden, and then take a right turn towards Gachibowli.

    The Cyberabad police have requested the public to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with traffic authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow during these times.
