The Intercontinental Cup 2024 Football Tournament is scheduled to take place on September 3rd, 6th, and 9th, 2024. Teams from India, Syria, and Mauritius will compete in the tournament, which will be held at the GMCB Stadium in Gachibowli.
Due to the event, traffic congestion is expected on the following routes during match days from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM:
– Lingampally to Gachibowli
– Gachibowli to Lingampally
– Wipro to IIIT Junction
Here is the match schedule:
1. India vs Mauritius on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
2. Mauritius vs Syria on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
3. India vs Syria on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
To help ease traffic during these times, the following alternative routes are recommended:
1. Gachibowli Junction towards Lingampally:
– Vehicles should take a left turn at GPRA Quarters, then a right turn towards Gopichand Academy, followed by a left turn at Infosys Wipro Junction. Continue with a right turn towards Gopanpally, go around the University’s backside, and proceed to Lingampally.
– Time Period: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
2. Lingampally towards Gachibowli Junction:
– Vehicles should take a left turn at HCU Depot, then proceed through Masjid Banda and Botanical Garden, before making a right turn to continue to Gachibowli.
– Time Period: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
The general public is advised to plan their commute accordingly and cooperate with the Traffic Police to ensure smooth traffic flow during the tournament.
