Both the Congress and the BJP have failed to work for the welfare of the people, according to Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar. He made these remarks while interacting with the people during the Praja Ashirvada Yatra at Ram Nagar in Hanumakonda. Vinay stated that both the BJP and Congress have been unsuccessful in resolving the issues faced by farmers and the working class.
Vinay accused the BJP of hindering the development of Telangana and urged the people to teach them a lesson. He mentioned that both major opposition parties, Congress and BJP, only make their presence felt during elections.
Vinay praised the BRS government for its support to the people over the past nine years. He highlighted the government’s efforts in introducing schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, and 24-hour free power supply for the welfare of farmers. He also mentioned how the scenario has changed, with each division now receiving funds ranging from Rs 20 crore to Rs 50 crore, compared to their struggles before 2009.
Leaders T Janardhan Goud, Sugunakar Reddy, and Veerender were present during the interaction. Additionally, leaders from various trade unions expressed their support for Vinay, who is the BRS candidate for the Warangal West constituency in the upcoming Assembly elections.
