The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee is considering starting a bus yatra from August 15. The yatra will cover all Assembly constituencies and will be carried out in phases. In the first phase, 10 senior leaders are expected to participate.

This decision was made during a meeting of the TPCC political affairs committee, chaired by Manikrao Thakre, the party’s State in charge. A subcommittee will be formed to determine the route and duration of each phase of the yatra. The party believes that elections are approaching in 100 days and wants to accelerate its campaign.

In the meantime, followers of party senior leader Ponnam Prabhakar protested at Gandhi Bhavan because he was not included in any committees. Thakre and other leaders have spoken to Prabhakar and promised to resolve the issue soon.
