PCC chief A Revanth Reddy and BJP general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar have filed their nominations for the Assembly elections in Kodangal and Karimnagar respectively. Reddy is urging the people of Kodangal to vote for him and secure his win. He believes that he has been given the opportunity to lead the State because of the support of the people of Kodangal. Reddy wants to win more votes than DK Sivakumar, who was responsible for the Congress’s victory in Karnataka.

Revanth questions why KCR, who was trusted by the people of Mahbubnagar and sent to Parliament in 2009, did not bring justice to the area in the ten years after Telangana formation. He challenges KCR to compete with him in Kodangal.
