The ISKCON Centre in Miyapur, Hyderabad will be hosting the Shri Jagannath Ratha Yatra on July 13. The Temple President, Ramdas Parbhuji, shared this information with the media. The event will start at RS Brothers in Chandanagar at 2 pm on Saturday, and the procession will move through several main streets before ending at Vishwanath Gardens.
Ramdas mentioned that the Ratha Yatra attracts thousands of devotees and spectators from different countries, promoting unity, devotion, and community spirit. Various dignitaries and devotees will participate, emphasizing the cultural and social significance of the event in fostering harmony among diverse communities. Residents near Miyapur, Chandhanagar, Hydernagar, and JP Nagar are encouraged to join at HMT Swarnapuri Colony to seek blessings from Jagannath Swamy.
The programme at Vishwanath Gardens will start at 6 pm and conclude by 10 pm. Arrangements such as drinking water supply, distribution of pulihora prasadam along the procession route, cultural performances, speeches by dignitaries, and other activities will be available for devotees. Annaprasadam will be provided to all attendees. ISKCON Temple Prabhujis Anand Gopinath and Madur Shyam, as well as ISKCON members Goparaju Srinivas and Devishetty Srinivas, were present at the event.
