The Khammam Police Department is holding a job fair for unemployed youth at the SBIT College on Sunday. Police Commissioner Vishnu S Warrier announced the job fair during a press conference on Friday. The goal of the job fair is to help unemployed young people find work in private and corporate organisations. Over 14,000 unemployed people have registered for the event, and 8,150 job opportunities are available. Companies from various sectors, including pharma, medical, IT, banking, services, and education, will be present to conduct interviews and hire candidates.
The job fair is open to anyone who has passed their 10th, degree, or postgraduate level. There is the potential to earn salaries ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs 80,000, depending on skills and experience. The Police Commissioner urged unemployed youth to take advantage of this opportunity while keeping their future in mind. The Police Department has widely promoted the job fair in rural areas to ensure maximum participation.
Unemployed youth can register their names at any police station to attend the job fair. Candidates are asked to prepare at least ten resume files as numerous firms are expected to attend. The Police Commissioner requested the media’s support in notifying the community about this employment opportunity and encouraging eligible candidates to attend.
The Police Commissioner was joined by Additional DCP Subhash Chandra Bose, ACPs Ganesh, Bhaswareddy, Ramoji Ramesh, Rahman, Prasanna Kumar, Venkateshwarlu, Venkata Swamy, and CI Tumma Gopi during the announcement.
