    The Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) for 2024 is set to begin on Monday with new arrangements in place. This year, the test will be conducted in a computer-based format, a change from the previous offline OMR-based mode.

    There will be 80 test centers across 16 districts in the state, with two sessions held each day: one from 9 am to 11:30 am and another from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates must arrive at the centers at least half an hour before the session starts, and no entry will be allowed after the gates close.

    The paper II Mathematics and Science tests in English/Telugu medium will take place from May 20 to 22, while the same subjects in the minor medium are scheduled for June 1. The paper II social studies exam in English medium will be held on May 24, 28, and 29. Paper-I tests will be conducted from May 30 to June 2.

    A total of 2,86,386 applications were received for the TS TET, with nearly 100,000 registrations for paper I and the rest for paper II. This test is crucial for those seeking eligibility to teach in classes I to VIII.
