Tillu, accused in court shootout, is killed by Gogi gang in Tihar prison in New Delhi.

Tillu Tajpuriya, a gangster who was in jail, was killed by members of a rival gang on Tuesday. The attackers allegedly cut the iron grille of Tajpuriya’s high-security ward and attacked him with a sharp object. Tajpuriya was taken to the hospital but couldn’t be saved. Four members of the Gogi gang allegedly climbed down to Tajpuriya’s ground-floor ward from the first floor using sheets. Tajpuriya was attacked with an improvised sharp object. He suffered multiple stab injuries and died during treatment at the hospital. In September 2021, gangster Jitender Gogi was allegedly shot dead in the Rohini court shootout case where Tajpuriya was also an accused.
