    TSPSC preparations for Group-4 exam

    Hyderabad, June 23 (Namaste Telangana): TSPSC is deeply involved in the preparations for conducting the Group-4 exam smoothly as the days pass by. In 2018, a total of 10.58 lakh applications were received for 700 Village Revenue Officer (VRO) posts. Subsequently, 9.51 lakh applications were received for Group-4 posts, which is also quite heavy. In this process, the Commission specially focused on the allocation of exam centers, allocation of seats, and other related issues. The Commission held a meeting on Friday regarding the conduct of Group-4 exams. District-wise positions were determined and examination centers were set up in the central office for the first time due to a large number of applications. The Commission is closely monitoring the examination process, seat arrangements, and police security measures. Special measures are being taken without any glitches. TSPSC is considering the implementation of biometrics for Group-4 exams this time. Approximately 30 to 40 seconds are required for each candidate for biometrics. It takes about 5 to 10 seconds for each thumb impression. The Commission has already held discussions with officials regarding the implementation of thumb attendance in Group-4. The opinions of technicians have been considered. The Commission is already aware that the implementation of thumb attendance for Group-4 has been discussed.

    Group-4 hall tickets from today

    Group-4 hall tickets will be available on the website https://www.tspsc.gov.in from today, said TSPSC Secretary Anita Ramachandran. Hall tickets will be available on the website until 15 minutes before the start of the exam. Paper-1 will be conducted on July 1 from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and Paper-2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates are advised to report to the exam center two hours before the start of the exam. Candidates are also informed to carefully read the instructions printed on the back of the hall ticket and adhere to them without fail.
