The Shamshabad airport received a threatening email from some troublemakers, claiming that they were going to hijack a flight from Hyderabad to Dubai. The CISF personnel were immediately informed and they stopped the flight.
Before allowing the flight to take off, the CISF thoroughly checked the luggage on board and detained three people named Tirupati Badineni, L Vinod Kumar, and P. Rakesh Kumar.
After investigating, the CISF discovered that the trio had plans to travel to Iraq through Dubai. They handed the individuals over to the airport police, who have registered a case and are currently looking into the person who sent the threatening email.
The flight was cancelled as a result, but the officials assured the passengers that they would be accommodated on another flight to their intended destinations.
